Privacy Practices
SailRx LLC may use or disclose your health information for treatment, operations, coordination of care, payment processing, or as otherwise permitted or required by law. This may include consultation with licensed healthcare providers, dispensing medications through partner pharmacies, and ongoing communications about your care plan.
We may share your personal health information with your treating Provider, the SailRx care team, pharmacies, or internal team members supporting treatment coordination. SailRx may also use this information to evaluate the quality of care, conduct compliance reviews, ensure accuracy of records, and improve services offered.
We may collect and use information including your name, address, contact details, medical history, images you upload, consultation answers, prescriptions, and records of your treatment or messages to the care team. We also collect device data, IP addresses, browser and operating system type, and usage data from interactions with our website or patient portal.
We may also share anonymized and de-identified data for analytics or service improvement purposes where no personally identifiable information is involved.
Technology and Third-Party Service Providers
SailRx uses secure cloud-based technology and partners with third-party service providers to support telehealth delivery, appointment scheduling, payment collection, communication, recordkeeping, and user experience optimization. These service providers may access your data only to the extent necessary to perform their functions and are required to maintain appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not allow third-party advertisers to use your personal health data for direct marketing.
Data Retention
We retain your personal and medical information as required under applicable state and federal law. This includes clinical records, communication logs, prescriptions, and transaction details. Certain information may be retained longer where legally mandated or if required for audit, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or compliance reasons.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including administrative, technical, and physical security controls, to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your personal and health information. Despite these precautions, no data transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You are encouraged to use secure passwords and devices and notify SailRx promptly if you suspect unauthorized activity.
Telehealth Informed Consent and Disclosure
SailRx enables access to healthcare services through its telehealth platform by facilitating consultations with licensed medical providers (“Providers”). There are two principal forms of telehealth offered:
Asynchronous consultation, where you submit personal health information digitally. A licensed Provider will review the information and may diagnose and offer treatment. However, asynchronous consultations are not suitable for every patient or condition. SailRx or your Provider may instead require a real-time video visit before prescribing treatment.
Synchronous consultation (live video), where you interact with a Provider in real-time through a secure video connection. You may discuss your condition, ask questions, and receive diagnosis or treatment recommendations as appropriate.
Potential risks of telehealth include: – Internet connection failure during consultation
– Poor image or audio quality, potentially reducing diagnostic accuracy
– Inaccurate or incomplete health information submission by the user
– Possible limitations in diagnosing without an in-person physical examination
By using telehealth, you agree to provide accurate and complete health history and responses. Inaccurate or withheld information may affect treatment decisions. You are responsible for informing your care team about changes in your condition, side effects, or issues with your treatment plan.
You understand that: – Telehealth eliminates the need to travel
– You can connect with a Provider quickly
– Treatment effectiveness may vary between individuals
– Some treatments may have side effects or limited efficacy
– You should contact a Provider through the SailRx platform, consult your in-person medical provider, or visit urgent care if symptoms worsen
– In an emergency, you should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency facility
You acknowledge your right to discontinue treatment or seek a second opinion at any time. You may request a copy of your records and are encouraged to share new prescriptions or medical updates with your in-person healthcare team.
Cookies and Tracking
SailRx uses cookies and related tracking technologies to improve website performance, understand user behavior, and enhance your experience. These tools may collect technical data about your device, browser, navigation path, and interaction with the site. You may choose to disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may limit functionality.
Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for users over the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from individuals under 18 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has provided information, you should contact us immediately to request deletion of that data.
